Rutherfordton has been a Main Street Community for 35 years. What started out in 1990 as a group of volunteers working on a committee called Rutherford Town evolved into an organization in 1995 called Rutherford Town Revitalization. Look at some of RTR's recent impacts and view our history for a full list of projects and contributions over the last 35 years.
